COSIGN 2002, the second conference on Computational Semiotics for Games and New Media, took place in Augsburg (Germany) on the 2nd-4th September, 2002.

As with the other COSIGN events, COSIGN 2002 provided a forum for exciting and stimulating cross-disciplinary discussion, exploring the ways in which semiotics can be applied to creating and analysing computer-based media.

Keynote speakers at the conference were Jeff Rickel and Ola Stockfelt.

The published proceedings for the conference are available for download in PDF format. Individual papers can also be downloaded from the same location.

Additional information about this (and the other COSIGN events) are available from the links in the list on the right.
